AltEd relaunch preview
A ground-up rebuild of AltEd: a new sign-in experience, card payments for provider balances, and this refreshed public site — with the role-based dashboards being ported over feature by feature.
- NewSign in your way: magic links by default (no password to remember), plus passwords, passkeys (Face ID / Touch ID) and Google, Microsoft or Apple sign-in where enabled.
- NewAccount security in Settings: change your email or password, add passkeys, and link or unlink social accounts.
- NewCard payments: families can now settle a provider balance by card, processed securely via Stripe.
- ImprovedThe provider↔family billing ledger — lesson pricing, automatic session charges, credits with approval and a shared transaction history — rebuilt on the new platform.
- ImprovedA refreshed public site: this changelog, a full feature tour, honest pricing, and a growing help centre of plain-English guides.
