The Horniman runs a dedicated home education programme including regular object-handling and outdoor learning workshops and twice-yearly Home Education Days. Workshops run in seasonal series (Autumn, Spring, Summer) for a range of age groups and are ticketed; organised home-education groups can also book bespoke workshops at schools rates. The site also provides resources to support self‑led visits and information about educational-rate tickets for paid spaces during term time.
