Caphouse Colliery, New Road, Overton, Wakefield, WF4 4RH

The museum runs monthly Home Education Workshops aimed at children aged 7–12 (not exclusive to those ages), with themed, hands-on sessions covering topics such as art, geology, science and chemistry. Workshops are held in The Hub (two sessions per day: 11:00–12:30 and 14:00–15:30) and places are bookable via the event booking link on the museum site. Adults in the group do not need to book and the Underground Tour is not included in the workshops.
