The museum runs pre-bookable Home Education Days (two dates each term), with one date recommended for Key Stage 1 and one for Key Stage 2. Sessions run 10:00–14:00 and include a 90-minute hands-on facilitated workshop plus a 90-minute self-directed exploration of the museum; capacity is 25 children with a 10-child minimum to run. Cost is £6.95 per participating child; one accompanying adult per family is free, additional adults must buy admission.
